German Designer Sebastian Aumer has designed a stool made from discarded eggshells.
He binds the eggshell 'pulp' with casein, vinegar and starch. He colours, then cooks the seat in an oven at high temperature. The other components being the legs are made from wood making the structure completely decomposable.
A really successful re-use of waste. The final design looks solid and steady opposed to the fragility of the eggshells that it's composed from. Wonderful choice of colours I must say.
